Event Waiver

By registering to play in the SGR 2026 Summer Hockey Competition, you agree to the below rules, and terms and conditions.

Rules:

·   7 a side mixed competition on half field
·   Minimum of 2 ladies required to be playing on the field
·   Up to 10 Players per team
·   No goalkeeper / No hitting, slapping or tomahawks / No intentional raised balls / No rough play
·   No experience necessary - we're all playing for fun and fitness.
·   Minimum age 14 or turning 14 by 31 December 2026
·   Each side to provide an umpire each week (no experience necessary)

Important information:

Mouthguards, shinpads and appropriate footwear must be worn
HockeyNSW Fee must be paid for insurance purposes (only an issue if you did not play Hockey during the winter)
Note that the cost ($70 per team per week) is to be paid at the canteen each week, or all upfront on Week 1
A team manager must be appointed to be the point of contact to receive the draws

Competition Draw and Umpire Schedules will be sent to team managers in the week prior to competition starting
If your team does not supply an umpire for your assigned match, and no replacement is provided, you will be charged a $70 fine.

Please make sure you put your team name in if you already have a team. If you are looking to be put into a team, put N/A when asked and you will be assigned a team - everyone will get a team.
