St George Randwick Hockey Club - Junior Competition
St George Randwick is a great Hockey club with a focus on family and delivering an opportunity to learn and play the game of hockey at all levels from a social sport to representative level.
We field teams in the Junior competition from under 9’s (minimum age is 6) to Under 17’s. Team allocation is determined by the child’s age at the beginning of the calendar year. All South East Hockey Association (SEHA) junior club games are played in mixed teams.
Our uniform consists of black shorts or skort which can be purchased from any sports or variety store and socks and shirt that can be purchased at the club. It is mandatory to play with both a mouth guard and shin pads.
St George Randwick is privileged to have coaches that have played at first grade level or above including for Australia. All our junior coaches have many years of junior coaching experience and hold current working with children certification.
St George Randwick encourages good sportsmanship, we play with heart and for our teammates. Spectators are encouraged to let “kids be kids” and to encourage and support effort, determination and skill,
