When children reach 14 years of age or tunring 14 by 31 December 2024 they can participate in the club’s Monday Night Social Summer Hockey Comp.
Monday Night Summer Social Hockey Comp is held in term 4 each year. For 2024 the competition will run for 10 weeks, with strating date TBC (either 7th or 14th October). Games are played on half a field, two games are played at 6pm, 6.45pm, 7.30pm, 8.15pm and 9pm. You can create your own team or be allocated to a team. There are 7 a side on the field with at least 2 ladies on the field at all times. Games are 20 min halves with a 5min half time break. No goalie, no hitting, no tomahawks and no rough play. It's a great way to get some exercise, spend time with family and friends, enjoy some good conversations, music and lots of laughs guaranteed. Cost is $60 per team per game. Minimum age is 14 years. Payment is made at the canteen each Monday night before you take to the field or alternatively pay 10 weeks up front. A team manager is to be nominated for your team to oversee things.
