SGR ACADEMY HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM 2023

SGR Academy is a talent identification and skill improvement program. It is designed to fast track young talented hockey players to the next level. Your child will be exposed to new skills and corrective techniques. Video analysis will be used to enhance your child’s development. The program will be delivered by internationally qualified coaches. Please see the web site for dates (Academy is held in the off season, January ) Cost $200

Coach for 2023 

Brent Livermore OAM represents a long line of dominant midfielders to grace the Kookaburra’s jersey. He has won two medals for Australia in men’s hockey, including bronze in Sydney 2000 and gold in Athens 2004.

He was first selected to play for Australia in 1997 and was awarded the Kookaburras player of the year award in 2001. He has also been nominated twice (2002, 2005) in the FIH Player of the Year awards.

Brent is currently a NSW Institute of Sport Head Coach and a National Training Coach of the NSW Pride team.
